TAMPA — Buccaneers coach Lovie Smith threw a wrench into his team’s work schedule Monday, canceling the players’ designated day off and forcing them to come in and review the tape of their 22-17 loss to the Browns a day earlier than usual. “When you’re 1-7, sometimes you need to change things up a little bit,’’ Smith said. Before the week is out, Smith might have changed a lot more than his players’ work schedule.
